Actress Trisha Krishnan Biography
Trisha is an actress and model from India who mainly appears in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi-language movies. She gained attention after taking first place in the Miss Chennai contest in 1999, which marked her entry into the movie business. Because of her proficiency in all South Indian languages, Trisha is frequently referred to as the Queen of South India. The Times of India has listed her as one of South India's top actresses.
Trisha Krishnan was born into the Tamil Palakkad Iyer family in Chennai (formerly known as Madras) to Krishnan Iyer and Uma. She completed her education at the Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park, Chennai, and afterward attended the Ethiraj College for Women to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree (Chennai).
She dabbled in modeling and made several appearances in print and television advertising. She was subsequently approached for an acting part in the Tamil film Lesa Lesa by Indian filmmaker Priyadarshan, which launched her acting career. While in college, she had a strict shooting schedule, which made it challenging for her to finish her education. She made up for it by taking summer classes, though.
She received her first starring part in the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe after playing a supporting role in the 1999 Tamil film Jodi. She then became well-known for her roles in the blockbuster films Varsham (2004), Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), and Athadu (2005) in Telugu and Tamil, respectively. In Tamil, she appeared in Saamy (2003), Ghilli (2004), and Aaru (2005).
