Actress Tamanna Bhatia Biography
Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia, also known by her stage name Tamannaah, has primarily acted in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi movies. Bhatia is one of the top-paid actresses in Indian film and has made a name for herself as one of the leading modern actresses in the field. She has appeared in almost 65 movies in three different languages.Tamanna Bhatia was born to Santosh and Rajani Bhatia on 21 December 1989, in modern-day Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her older brother is Anand Bhatia. Her father is a diamond trader. She is of Hindu Sindhi ancestry. She attended Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School in Mumbai for her formal education. Later, for numerological reasons, she modified her screen name to Tamannaah.
She began acting at the age of 13 when she was offered a starring role after being noticed during her school's annual day ceremony. She accepted, and for a year she was a member of Mumbai's Prithvi Theatre. She also made an appearance in the 2005 song "Lafzo Mein" from the album Aapka Abhijeet by Abhijeet Sawant.
Before performing in Telugu and Tamil movies, she made her acting debut in the 2005 Hindi film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra at the age of 15. She also made an appearance in the song "Lafzon main" from the album Aapka Abhijeet, which was also published in 2005. Tamannaah made her film debut in Telugu that same year with Sri, and the following year she made her debut in Tamil with Kedi. She appeared in two drama films on college life in 2007: Happy Days in Telugu and Kalloori in Tamil.

Her notable Tamil films include Ayan (2009), Paiyaa (2010), Siruthai (2011), Veeram (2014), and Dharm (2018).
At the 42nd Saturn Awards, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Avantika in Baahubali: The Beginning. In 2017, she was given the "Dayawati Modi" Award. For her services to Indian cinema, she received an honorary doctorate from the Confederation of International Accreditation Commission.
